"The church is leading, and it's amazing." More from Bono at the Prayer Breakfast in DC. Here's a snippet from the interview: Bono says he sees faith-based groups as "a vital component" to his work. "The church is a much bigger crowd even than the stadiums we play in as U2," he told us. And he's been energized by the religious response, particularly from evangelical churches that he says were initially "slow" to jump on board.Also, Rick Warren's interview with ABC's Nightline this past week was excellent and worth a watch (there's a short commercial at the beginning). I've given the Purpose Driven guru's works a very purposeful Church™ workover in the past, but I can't criticize this guy anymore...I'm willing to be purpose driven if this is the purpose he's talking about. Nightline also did a good interview with Angelina Jolie. I don't know much about her besides the tabloid headlines (which I'm sure are 100% accurate), but if love covers a multitude of sins...
