A good post on Michael Toy's blog:

why i don't like to use upper case letters
In an on-line discussion, I have determined that if you are involved in a conversation with someone, and they begin to USE PHRASES IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, that the conversation is over. Further attempts at dialog will result only in MORE STRIDENT STATEMENTS until finally there are ENTIRE PARAGRAPHS EXPLAINING THE CLEAR TRUTH THAT EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW AND I AM NOW MAKING OBVIOUS BECAUSE MY LETTERS ARE BIGGER THAN YOURS.

i'm interested in the truth that can be spoken in lower case letters, that capitalizes itself in the hearts of readers. i think jesus spoke in this way, when i read the words of jesus, the capital letters can't be argued with, because they have become my own.
